Jonas Knight, a hatter by trade, made this particular building his home for his family in 1846. As far as we know, he was not responsible for the phrase “mad
as a hatter”.
You will note the layout of the house to be rather typical for the time period, and throughout, thoughtful decorations remind our guests of the way things once were. If you are interested in finding

Before or after a meal at The Knight House, many people enjoy strolling the streets of Doylestown or
catching a movie at The County Theater.
The Knight House has been owned by Tom Frank since 2005 and during that time has steadily risen in stature as a dining destination under the guidance of Tom and Executive Chef, Shawn Guers.
